About The Davies Law Firm, PLLC
The mission of the Davies Law Firm is to provide top quality, personalized representation to a limited number of clients. We defend individuals and businesses under investigation or facing charges from federal and state authorities. Mr. Davies also represents attorneys, physicians and other professionals facing ethics or professional licensure issues. Mr. Davies has over 30 years of experience handling complex trials. The firm was founded in 2024 to provide individualized service in a small firm setting with access to modern practice tools.

Meet the team
The firm is founded on a true team approach. Attorneys Wade Davies and Georgia Miller and paralegal Meghan Franklin have intentionally created a small firm so that we can work together on every case. We are all invested in every case and available whenever clients have questions or issues.
Wade Davies
Attorney
Wade Davies has tried complex cases for over thirty years. He has served on the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee and now represents attorneys in matters before the Board. Mr. Davies has concentrated on state and federal investigations and criminal trials throughout his career. Mr. Davies graduated first in his class from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1993. In 2016, Mr. Davies was inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and currently serves on the Tennessee State Committee. He has served as the President of the Knoxville Bar Association and is the President Elect of Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Davies is the criminal law columnist for the Tennessee Bar Journal and has published over forty columns in the Journal.
Georgia Miller
Associate Attorney
Georgia Miller graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law, cum laude, in 2023. Georgia was president of the UT Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild. She was an articles editor on Tennessee Law Review and received the Jerry P. Black Student Clinic Attorney Award. Georgia is a member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Georgia is licensed in Tennessee and is admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Tennessee. Georgia received her undergraduate from Maryville College.
Meghan Franklin
Paralegal
Meghan has worked as a paralegal for Mr. Davies since 2021. Meghan graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a degree in Sociology: Criminology & Criminal Justice, and a minor in Psychology. During her last two years at UTK, she was a student intern at the William M. Bass Forensic Anthropology Center, better known as "the Body Farm." Meghan is a member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. The highlight of Meghan's career has been investigating and participating in the successful defense of a death penalty case. Meghan's compassion and unwavering advocacy for clients make her an essential asset to the firm.
